I'm sure other people have been having these issues, and probably with this same game. I'm finding that the (real) Wiimote won't stay connected for longer than five seconds, and Prime Trilogy is constantly stopping to tell me that 'communications with the wii remote have been interrupted.' This hasn't happened with any other Wii games, and it's infuriating here as it renders the game unplayable. I've tried removing the Wiimote from the Windows bluetooth list and adding it again, and just put brand new batteries in the Wiimote (Plus, though that should make no difference) to no avail. I'm not sure what to do that this point. I'm using Dolphin 3.5-367, which I think I've had for a bit less than a month.

Cheers for any feedback.

Try it with the latest version of Dolphin 3.5-651 available from the Download link at the top of this page.

Well, that seems to have cleared up my issue for the most part. I still get a random disconnect or two upon launch but I can actually play now. Thank you.

yes, in my case i get disconnect at the begining most times, but after two tries i can play at least 20 - 45 mins.... i set up the speaker off and enable continuos scaning, the good part is you can reconnect the wiimote and continue the game by simple removing your dongle and plug in again without exit the game.

(sorry my poor english)

I'm having the same issue and with all builds that I've tried. I've read to use alt+f5 (reconnect controller) and that works but only very tempoarily.

I've always read to disable the 'speaker data' but I'm using a real wiimote controller and do not see that option...

Also... I'm running the latest x64 stable release and I don't see how you see the build number.. all I can see is a master branch hash and the fact that it was built on Dec 24, 2012...

I tried a nightly release (the night before) and it's the same thing..

Also had another question.. Which specific build should I be using to avoid the launcher problem as well? Right now I can only load the game using the .dol replacement trick but it sounds like this is an EC/ES launcher issue and was resolved but later re-introduced?

Help!

thanks!
Angel

You'll find this option in "Wiimote" menu but only with recent builds.
With Dolphin 3.5 (stable release): Right click your game in your gamelist. Go into Properties. And check "Alternate Wiimote Timing".

Build number is written on the top-left corner (3.5-XXX). The stable release has no number.

Recent builds fix ES_LAUNCH games. Just use one of the very latest builds

Thanks for the reply! I'm also working with build 3.5-1297 and still not having any luck..

Also forgot to mention - I'm having an issue getting certain parts of the real wii mote working (like twisting and flicking the wii mote) - is there something special I have to do to get the wiirmote configured properly or should it set it up properly out of the gate with "real wiimote" selected?

According to the official game thread ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wii...ogy--26043 ) it should work with latest builds though.
ES_LAUNCH might be temporarily broken I don't know. It has already happened.

Anyway I invit you to post your questions in this thread. You're more likely to get an answer than here

Thanks will do - also turns out that it is mostly working (once I disabled speaker data).

Just having a video / shuttering issue now but getting close! Once this is playable I'll be a happy dude.

EDIT: Also having a problem getting save states to load Sad
