Weird defects with Metroid Prime using a Certain dolphin revision from Dolphin 3.5-2558 to Dolphin 4.0 http://s21.postimg.org/xa5zuhxqv/Dolphin_2013_09_23_22_57_42_947.jpg Do you see the weird black smoke out of the crate? Also the menu goes invisible, however disabling destination alpha works. But without destination alpha I can't scan. Can someone fix this? It's not affected by older revisions like dolphin 3.5-1855

That is pretty useless. Don't trim them like that. Some of the options you cut off could be a part in the issues you have, but I can't see them cause of your silly trim. Show the full page please.

Regardless, 4x Native seems a bit excessive. Auto (window size) with some antialiasing thrown in will give you far better results for far fewer resources. Also, the screenshot you showed was stretched horizontally. You should keep the Aspect Ratio on Auto. And turn on per-pixel lighting. It's free, it's more accurate, and it looks better.

OpenCL and OpenMP? lol. Looks like OpenCL is your culprit. Kill it with fire, it's a glitchy nightmare that will soon be removed. Disable OpenCL, OpenMP, and EFB to Ram's "Enable Cache" thing, try it, then turn on OpenMP and Enable Cache and try again. Do not use OpenCL.

And run it in a lower resolution (4x Native? That´s sure a crazy thing to try!Tongue).

Then show ALL of your settings, graphics and otherwise. No weird cropping this time please.

And DO NOT open the graphics configuration menu while running this game. It will override the GameINI settings.

Wait what? IRs are more demanding than Anti-Aliasing? i thought it was the other way around, i just did a couple of tests and it seems like dolphin is about to explode every time i use D3D9's 4x SSAA and i switched the IR back to Auto from 2x

There's your problem right there. SSAA is pretty screwed up in D3D9. Use MSAA or CSAA in OpenGL or D3D11, or SSAA in OpenGL. It will get you much better results

Still getting the same results even with a 2x sampling, 4x just plainly kills every game for some reason
