We can't really help because we did not make the AR code and the AR emulator is half complete and probably still buggy. Test the cheat on your real AR/Gamecube and see if the cheats works fully (possibly the cheat doesn't work very good itself) and that the region of the cheat matches the game's region. If the emulator is crashing, sounds like the AR corrupted some code. I think the phazon beam activation button is CStick Up while power-beam is selected.
