This is the first dolphin release I use, I started playing Metroid Prime 2 yesterday, and it's always been crashing, so it's most definitely dolphin related. Also, the checksum of my dump is fine.
Update: Trying Dolphin Git 3.0-868 now. Keep your fingers crossed, no crashes so far.

Your system is too weak for this game. That's all. Try less demanding games

Thank you, that's truly qualified advice. I wonder why I didn't see the easy fix on my own? On a sidenote, changing to Git seems to have fixed all issues, I've been playing crash free for quite a while, which is a large improvement.

Git is a repository system. What fixed it was that you changed to a recent build. This issue was likely a FIFO issue which was fixed somewhere around r7200-r7300.

Also you might want to update your profile info. for next time, and turn private message on.

Yeah in your first posts you were using 3.0-843 so it should've solved your issues from the beginning shouldn't it?

That would be why. Use the latest development build from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/.

Try disabling dual core or sync gpu threads

It has a speedhack that speed up the game and try accurate vbeam emulation to gain some fps
