I am running dolphin 3.0 on a mac book pro 13 inch 2011 edition. When i load up Metroid prime 2 It goes to black screen and I can't play the game how do ifix this.

What settings are you using? You'll need to post them here. Click the Config button and look at the General tab. Then, click on the Graphics button and look at the General, Enhancements, and Hacks tabs.

Here are my settings
Config:
Enable dual core- yes
Enable idle skipping- yes
JIT recompiler- yes
Lock threads to cores- yes
Force console as NTSC-J
Use Panic Handlers- yes

Grapthics:
OpenGL-yes
Fullscreen- 640x480
Internal resolution- 1x NAtive (640x528)
Anisotropic Filtering- 1x
Scaled EFB copy- yes
Force Texture Filtering- yes
EFB copies- Ram
External frame buffer- disable
Advanced- none

Here are my mac specs:
Processor- 2.3 GHz intel core i5
Memory- 4 gb 1333 mhz ddr3
Gpu- intel had graphics 3000 384mb
Software- mac osx lion 10.7.3

Ah, I did some googling, and after seeing this thread, I remember that black screens could be a sign of a bad dump. Your settings look fine, as far as I can tell. Try redumping your game to see if that solves the problem.

If you don't know, what redump means, than you downloaded this game from the web, didn't you?

maybe i'm wrong, but this is a clearly sign. And here, we don't support game piracy.
