The wiki says that the fix requires version 1.00 NTSC.
I have had trouble finding the game on ebay (asked about 20+ ppl) so I am wondering if there are alternatives or am I looking for the wrong thing on the disk?
https://www.metroid2002.com/version_diff...number.php
On this page, I refer people to I ask if they have DOL-GM8E-0-01 USA/JPN. Most have 0-02 or 0-00. Is 0-01 version 1.00 or is there some other identifier?
I have found that it may be solved using a hex editor but I have no idea how to do it.
"Alternatively, if you know how to use a hex editor, you can patch the .dol file directly to fix frustum culling. Jump to the offset 0x342208 and replace the four bytes there (which should be 0xFF401090) with the value 0xC342CB78."

I have of course looked for the iso (I own the game, but not ver 1.00) but could not find anything.
I would rather not use the alternative code, as it frequently crashes. Is there any solution? I have spent three trying and I cannot find ver 1.00 or another solution that I can do.
Any suggestions help.
Thanks!

Version 1.00 is 0-00.

There is a 0-01, but it's relatively uncommon and it's not what you need for this.
