Surely, there's still some room for improvement (like on those plants Wink ) but everything you've done is a clear improvement over the original textures.
I have actually yet to play through this game so I'll surely use your texture pack then Smile

Thanks, glad you like it.  There's not much you can do with the plants since they're just 2D textures in 3D space... they're always going to look flat and fake.

Plus I've update the 1st post with your new pack and I also added the ChangeLog.

Thank you.  I considered changing a few more things but honestly the game has a very clean style that scales up well and doesn't really necessitate a full texture pack.  If anything, I would have liked to update the clouds in that sector 1 field but they looked really bad no matter what I tried.

@ hyperspeed: I find the first post a bit confusing. What do I have to download if I want everything? Just "August 10, 2015 UPDATED by Nerrel" or all files there in that post?

Just the "August 10, 2015 UPDATED by Nerrel" the other uses the "old format" so they will only work on old builds.

Yep. In fact Hyperspeed, the older archives of mine can just be deleted from the main post since they're obsolete and broken on new builds.

It got taken down for copyright infringement.  I was under the impression the resources I was using were free to use stock.  Maybe the person who reported it can inform me of what specific resources they objected to?   If I did violate someone's rights, I'll gladly remove it.

Anyway, here's a re-up:  https://mega.nz/#!KZlEFR5b!tLGkjgpuxtuXe3w47JFoIIzkFrvwmYKLLFAUn2SJMuM

Oftentimes these takedowns are mistakes of some kind, it seems. Even Tino's Ishiiruka build was once taken down for alleged copyright infringement...

I doubt it was reported, it's usually a random find by the Entertainment Software Association. I've had uploaded packs taken down far too many times. Heck they even recently took down a shader pack that toto621 made for the xenoblade pack which doesn't even contain any texture files, just a bunch of folders, dlls, and a txt document. I started using a password on the xenoblade pack and encrypting the file names and so far so good. It probably won't stop them, but it seems to help slowing them down for awhile. This "war on piracy" is just as pointless as the "war on drugs" or the "war on terrorism". The ones in charge have no clue how to stop any of it, and until proven innocent, everyone's a criminal.

The solution: re-upload. Tongue Passwording and encrypting your zips may help to keep it up, I have yet to have one of those taken down. Name your zip to something that isn't the name of the game (like for xenoblade, XbC is a little more obscure). It's a minor inconvenience for the user, but it's an even bigger inconvenience to us when having to re-upload gigabytes of textures.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant with 'mistakes' ^_^
They seem to have some kind of automatic algorithm shit plowing through the net and file hosting services in search of anything that just might have something to do with something they hold copyright over and then they make the hosters take it down...
