Metroid 3 Help

i am playing metroid 3 on 2745 ..everything was running fine ...defeted the first boss and then took off to norian ...but the moment samus ship enters the planet the game crashes .....please help ....
also does enabling dual core creates more problems(i have played metroid prime disabling dual mode ..when ever i turned it on the game(s)crashes more frequently ....
please help in resolving the issues ....thanks in advance

You got much farther than me at least (Are you playing NTSC version where the scanner work?) If there is an error message when it crashes, please post. I don't think many people have been playing the game past the space station yet because of save scanner/save issues.
If you haven't turned on "safe texture cache" in advanced graphics options, do it. I've tested the game a little with later game saves, and I remember it crashed also when trying to use the space ship unfortunately.

Somehow I got it to save once. I don't know how it worked, because I tried it again in the same game and with all the same settings and it crashed again... But I got it saved at the very first save point, where you first get out of the ship, I haven't been able to save it since then.

But I play the NTSC version and the scanners work now. Have to have Copy EFB to RAM (real) on.

I haven't been able to get very far though, I keep getting freezes with the message about that it can't access the memory card because it's HLE'ing the BIOS, this happens in all 3 metroid primes, more frequently in MP2, and more repeatable in MP3. MP1 does it with the IL version, I have a save game that I can't load with IL now. =(

i am using pal version of the game ..and have enabled safe texture cache...and also copy efb to system ram(real) .....scanner works fine ....i have defeted the first boss without any crash ....now the ploblem is when ship enters norian ....game always crashes.......is ntse version playable.....

Hey, just a quick one, tell me more about IR_Pointer.zip. How does it work and where do I put the INI file?
