i got maximum 33 but its still laggy and annoying,what else could be done?what os do you recommend?im using w7 64 bit right now,will xp be better?

Just like fagoatse said, use the D-pad instead of the analog-stick. It works for me

i tried it on Dolphin R4631... it worked very well with openGL... the frames are between 40-50...

Okay, the game is probably even better after recent CG changes by death2droid. Will re-test soon.

i am using a laptop with these specs;
t7300 2.0 ghz core2duo
2 gb 667 ddr2 ram
256 mg 8600gs (upto 1200 mb) nvidia
160 gb hdd

can you please tell me which version is the fastest for mgsts
and which configuration do you use? i get 30 fps but it's slow i dunno why?

I have a problem with the controls. I play with a real gamecube controller but whenever I want to go down in MGS, it recognizes it as up. Only sometimes it works, but thats no way to play.
Tried a few revisions like 50xx, and this error seems to occur since then. I'm using the 64bit version. Now I don't want to play it with 4771, because my framerates are way better with 50xx. From 26 to 35 or so, which makes it at least playable.

Any ideas?

@Balupu use Dpad instead of arrow keys i mean don't use up,down,left,right use I(up), K(down), J(left), L(Right). i use rv 5060 these are my default dpad keys. you can look at controller plugin settings.

hi guys ! the same problem with the IL version seems to exist at the end on the jeep part and also it crashes on the cutscene when metal gear explodes after u beat it! someone know how to fix them ? cuz i i am using older rev and jit version to beat the game
