I regret to inform you but your CPU is not up to the task. MGS:TT with all bells and whistles eat's 50% of my 2500k @ 4.4. It's quite a demanding game.

The only way to properly get LLE audio for every game is to use the guide ExtremeDude2 made (the one LordVador linked to). You'll need access to a console though, as the file must be extracted from it. If you don't have a console, then there's not much you can do about that.

Hi all.
I have audio stuttering throughout all the game (I suppose all do), but even worse, I have sound stops in the cinemas, after which the game hangs. The wiki page says that I should use XAudio2 along with DSP HLE emulation, but this has no effect for me. As for DSP LLE method - I have proper dsp_coef.bin and dsp_rom.bin in the proper folder, but this method leads to even worse sound stuttering, even in that moments which did not have stuttering with HLE emulation.

I tried different builds, stable and not stable, they are all the same. Now I'm on 3.0-716.

P.S. tried many sound and video settings combinations. No effect.
What am I supposed to do?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (x64 Dolphin)
Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40 GHz
GeForce GTX 590
8 GB RAM DDR-III Kingston (1133 MHz)

I'm pretty shure the thing is not in the PC specs.

This game has audio problems but not so much to the point where it completely hampers the user experience imo. That said, with your specs Dolphin should run good even with LLE audio enabled. Did you try the D3D11/OpenGL backends? This game works much better on those.

BTW, whatever issues I was having when using Accurate Vbeam with HLE is gone in the 3.0-710 . I just wish it was as fast as the official 3.0 release.

So im abit confused right now. Some of you say that DSP LLE wont work because it has no effect except on games made by nintendo and there are some of you that say we should do the ED2 tutorial http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=23103

What is the point in doing this tutorial if it gives no effect on this specific game? How can it improve the stability of the game?
I really didnt get the hang of the tutorial that ED2 did and just made my own interpretation of it.
I just downloaded dsp_coef and dps_rom and placed them in Dolphin/user/gc. Have i now completed the tutorial and made it possible to run DSP LLE?

I tried to run the game and got this message http://i50.tinypic.com/zv4v4g.jpg which resulted in no sound at all.

If someone wants to help me, please explain it as easy as you can. Im a total retard when it comes to these things.

I tried all possible video backends, and I have Accurate Vbeam enabled for this game as well. With HLE, sound stutters, but not so much through the gameplay, but sound often stops in the cinemas, leading to hanging of the game. With LLE, sound just stutters badly all the time.
