Took some experimenting, but this is definitely the best I've seen. Looks nice with the widescreen hack and I have more than enough GPU muscle for some AA/AF, so as far as I'm concerned this is a nice equivalent to the PS3/360 remakes of the PS2 titles. Well, I played a little longer with your settings. I have a massive problem with the sound. In cutscenes, the sound sometimes stops and then the game gets slower and freezes. Any idea how to fix it ? Using the same settings you posted + standard settings. ![]()
LLE is needed : you'll get sound issues even with LLE but it'll avoid crashes
You can also try LLE + Dolphin 3.0 it works "decently"

I'm gonna get a heart attack with this game. I basically have a choice:
- play with DSP HLE and not be able to hear what the characters are saying (I know there are subtitles, but still) because of the sound cutting off whenever it wants and crashing the game in the process; - play with DSP LLE and not be able to hear what the characters are saying because of the choppy audio (although the game itself works fine, only the sound is screwed up which annoys the hell outta me). I've tried various settings, but it doesn't work. The sound's still choppy with LLE. Oh, right. My specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit Processor/CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 635 Proccessor 2.90 GHZ Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 240 Memory/RAM: 4,00 GB Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 3.0-690 32-Bit Hurray for copy/pasting from my profile page. Oh well. I blame it on Kumi Sato (the person responsible for the controller vibrations) just for the hell of it. 06-16-2012, 03:49 AM
Am I the only one with controller issues while using HLE audio? No matter what revision I use, the controller acts weird. I do not have this problem with LLE at all. Something seems weird with that since that has to do with audio and not gameplay.

The hashless branch has fixed green codec transmissions so basically once sound and shadows are fixed, it'll be close to being perfect.

The codec screens are meant to be green, aren't they? This is what it is supposed to look like:
