Well got past Mantis but still have random freezing problems. Using the new V2.0 RC1 X64 version. Tried all different settings but nothing seems to work.

Hey guys, sorry for the English, let go ...
How is the emulation of the game in version 2.0 of the dolphin?
Here I get 30fps and 18fps in-game in the CGS
I tried various configurations, but can not get anything better than that ...
Does anyone have a light there?

It runs really good for me on 2.0, just afew freezes here and nothing but nothing too bad. Though I can't seem to make it past the check point during the Escape Route. Meryl keeps driving the jeep through the wall and messing up the game, happens no matter what I do with the settings.

MGS tested:

remember PAL = max 50 NTSC max 60

win7,winXP 32bit -> too much slowdowns max [color=#FF0000]24fps[/color] unplayable max75%cpu
win7,winXP 64bit -> game works very nice [color=#FF0000]44fps[/color] no slowdowns 100% cpu speed.

on 32bit win versions dolphin 2.0 is slightly faster then other revisions,but still unplayable + additional bugs.
on 64bit win versions dolphin 2.0 is extremely slow.best to use latest builds game works nice and fast.

tested on each of win7 and winXP game runs as stated.

TIP:
Play on PAL version of game,
Disable FOG,
use OpenGL,
Use Safe texture cache to prevent crashes.

additional info

tested on NTSC version of the game ,FPS and CPU speed is the same absolutely the same,PAL should be max 50 ,NTSC max 60 fps,but borh games runs the same.
which means that NTSC will run 10 fps slower then PAL one and it is noticeable in game!

last test done on svn 5526.

There is no sound or menu problems,menu's works at full speed all the time,even comm,sound does not have problems.

Comp spec used for testing:

Athlon 7450 x2 2.4ghz
5gb ddr2 ram
Ati 3870x2
My Rig:
Mainboard: Asus P8-Z77 | Ram: ExceleRam 2x8GB DDR3 Black Shark 1600MHz Cl9 | GFX: Nvidia GTX950 WFOC 2GB DDR5

Holy crap the game is really fast in latest rev. I used to get 30fps here!

Cutscenes have still low FPS about 20-30fps and 50 VPS though.
Also x64 version is finally fixed. The bug with Meryl at end is gone!

u are using direct3d plugin but in that one minimap does not have dot's which should represent targets,without it its impossible to notice walking guard or cameras.. Undecided

i used open gl

If someone interested here's the patch that fixes analog control under JitIL which is really faster than Jit in this game

Just tested,
there is no old analog control problem any more

and JitIL is TWICE slower now then Jit..

i barelly made to get 24fps with 50% cpu on JitIL
while Jit runs at 44 fps 90% cpu.

so patch and JitIL are obsolite.

windows 7 64bit revision 5550

Oh sorry, forgot to mention that my build is full of patches, so i also reverted changes that makes JitIl slower and makes F-ZEROgx playable
all that just to play MGS:TS
