it would be nice to have all games work on Android version of Dolphin, bu apparently it's not easy

no it isnt. im more interested in getting the popular games to atleast function. i dont care about the crappy ones ')

in the s6 work at 14fps in demanding areas but i think the shield tv can handle it very well.

Add the line
MMU = true
To your dolphin.ini but it wil probably be really slow.
