FYI, I (42kidiw) did not create this and I am not the author. But I felt like this is an amazing mod and I couldn't find it anywhere else online so I wanted to share.

Any questions you can ask the author: AfroJack X. Details here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5DZPLZx6s4

Classic OST Mod v1.3 by AfroJackX

Section 1 "What is this mod?"
Section 2 "How to install it"
Section 3 "Known issues."
Section 4 "Changelog"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section 1
What is this mod?

This is a mod that replaces the soundtrack from The Twin Snakes with the
soundtrack from the original Metal Gear Solid similar to the way Capcom
did with RE2 remake. RE2 remake only added their original tracks to the
areas that had those tracks originally. However, they left other songs
alone such as the ones in situations like the zombie dog fights.

In the case of TTS an example of this would be the Canyon area which had no
music in the original game but does in the remake. I have kept those songs
intact in this mod.

Please note some songs do play in different areas than the original as a
result of the way Silicon Knights reused songs throughout the game.
An example of this would be the Tank Hanger theme playing in the 1F, B1,
and B2 of the Nuke Building or Liquid's Hind D theme playing during his
first fight, the elevator fights, and the Metal Gear Rex battle.

Section 2
How to install it:

- xdeltaUI
- NTSC-U version of MGS TTS disc 1 and 2 in .iso or .gcm format

Link to the tool used for patching the game:

xdeltaUI
http://www.mediafire.com/file/4yel20u9kquwh6b/xdeltaUI.zip/file

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using the .xdelta patch:

1. First, open xdeltaUI and click on the "Open" button next to where it says
"Patch" and select the patch for whichever disc you are patching. Example:

Patch:
"MGS Twin Snakes Classic OST Mod v1.0 Disc 1.xdelta"

Source File:
"Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes Disc 1.iso"

2. Then click on the "Open" button next to where it says "Source File" and
select the .iso or .gcm file of whichever disc is being patched.

3. Once the patch and rom files have been selected, click on the button
with the three dots in it "..." next to where it says "Output File"
and name the .iso or .gcm file whatever you want it to be, then click the
"Save" button. Example: "MGS TTS OST Mod Disc 1.iso"

4. Finally, click on the "Patch" button below all of the selected files and
wait for it finish. It will take sometime to patch, just wait until it
says "File patched successfully".

- If the game does not boot correctly it may be due to a bad dump.
To check if your original .iso or .gcm is a good dump go to
redump.org and compare the MD5 of your .iso or .gcm from the TTS MD5's
on that website.

- If the MD5's are the same when they are compared then try to follow the
tutorial from the beginning. If they are not the same when they are
compared then you will have to make or download a new dump of the game
before retrying this tutorial.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section 3
Known issues:

- A few songs play in areas different from the original game due to the way
Silicon Knights reused songs. If someone can figure out how to change
this, that would be great.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section 4

[v1.1] 2/11/2022
