Hi guys, I just got to the Dragon Roost Island and since I was using some dolphin savestates between in-game saves, it wouldn't save in-game and I opened GC Memory Card Manager and deleted the record (yeah, I'm that dumb), and now I don't have ANY in-game saves.
I don't wanna be dependent on savestates just to have them break further into the game so what I'm asking is, can I make a in-game save now? If not, does someone maybe posses an in-game save from Dragon Roost Island? I just played the Wind Waker and I'm about to explore the island.
Thanks to all in advance. Shy

I don't see why you couldn't make a new save, so go ahead :p

Yeah, just load up that savestate and save ingame. It won't cause any issue.

I don't mean to sound like a wise ass but don't you think I already tried? Tongue
I'm getting something along these lines:
"Memory card A is damaged and cannot be used, please insert a functional memory card into slot A".
That's an in-game error, not from emulator.

There's probably nothing you can do about it now. Take this is a lesson learned, the next time you play a game, only use the real in-game saves and you won't have any issues.

Damn T_T
Guess I'm gonna play the rest of it using savestates, I messed up already earlier (deleted old revision to replace and lost my saves) and I don't really feel like playing through all that for the 4th time in 3 days.
Appreciate the help though!

I did that a few times a long time ago, but I knew that as long as I used the in-game saves, everything I did from then on would be saved, so it was worth starting over even if it was for the second or third time. It's only going to be a matter of time before your savestate fails, so you shouldn't waste anymore time with it. Smile

1- In your MC Manager export your savefiles anywhere you want.
2- Delete your actual MC.
3- Start the game.
4- Let the game create another MC.
5- Stop the game.
6- Import your savefiles with your MC Manager.
7- Start the game again.
8- Use one of your savestates.
9- Then make a new in-game save

Lost me on the 1st step already. WW is the only game I played so far and I don't have any saves on my "MemoryCardA.USA" of it and I am not sure on how to export savestates. Care to explain a bit? Thanks Big Grin
-EDIT-
Tried this (skipping steps 1 and 6) and didn't work :/ Thanks for trying Smile Appreciated.
