When I started up Dolphin today, I went on Animal Crossing, had memory card A selected and I just got K.K. Slider telling me that memory card A needs formatting. Confused, I went onto the memory card manager, looked at memory card A and all my GCI game saves were still there. I have the memory card correctly selected on the config screen, so I have no clue why the game can't detect that it's there. I tried going into the BIOS but that also was unable to detect the memory card. I wasn't having this problem at all yesterday and I did nothing to alter how it functions, so it doing this completely baffles me.

I'm using Dolphin 5.0, and the memory card in question was MemoryCardA.USA.raw

Any help is appreciated. Cheers.

Back up all your saves to GCI and try using a GCI folder rather than a .raw. Alternately, you can back up everything to GCI, format the memory card, and then reimport all the GCIs.

Unfortunately, the memory card is lost now, but I found a backup I made a few weeks ago. I'm pretty certain the method you suggested works though, so I'll try that next time I have this problem. Thanks.
