Memory card needs formatting

Hi,

I got RE:Nemesis to work but as it loads the game now says Memory Card A is corrupt and needs formatting.

Any ideas how?

Most Games detect corrupted memory cards & ask you if you wish to format in game, if that games doesn't do it, try a different game cause i'm not sure how to format externally
