Yo, hope this isn't the wrong place to post this, but I've been looking for some information about how/where the memory card data is stored in dolphin? I took a look on the wiki and couldn't find anything about it.
I've been wanting to do some glitching work with Star Fox Adventures (GCN) but you can't save your game file to the memory card and then mess around with savestates and attempt to save to the memcard again, as it just tells me the memory card I'm using is not the correct one. (this is something I do all the time as a glitch tester).
I don't know much about this kind of thing, at first I thought it was all saved in the memory card in the GC folder inside Dolphin's directory. After a little testing however, it seems that the emulator also keeps a copy of this data in RAM? Or at least somewhere that I can't easily manipulate by copying/pasting files.
If anyone can direct me to the information I need to start implementing some kind of crude solution to my issue (like even using external software to back up the memory card data every time I make a savestate and then restore it every time I load one), that would be really great. Thanks a lot!
