Exclamation
I was using savestates in Wind Waker, and when I tried to save, it said my memory card data is corrupted. Memory Card Manager lists the Wind Waker save as "yyyyyyyyy" or something like that. I deleted it and now I obviously lost my save file.

The biggest problem is, this affected ALL my save files excluding Super Mario Sunshine for some reason. When I try to export any other save file, it simply says "Export failed". Uhh... help?

I've broken my memory cards using save states on Windwaker. If you loaded a savestate from before you do a memory card save and then try and do a memory card save, it can corrupt the card. Try switching the type of memory card in Dolphin to the GCI folder and launch a game. It will decrypt the card and save everything as individual .gci files

How do I do that? I see no option for it.

I didn't even see it. Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I still need to regain my progress because I deleted my save file and the other save files got corrupted.

Are there any disadvantages of using GCI folder instead of memory card?

Memory Card A fix!!!

Hello to all my Nintendo kids as a Nintendo lover I couldn’t help but to share this fix so no one loses there files again!!! Firstly do not format memory card!!
OPEN DOLPHIN EMULATOR
CLICK ON “TOOLS” on taskbar
Click Memorycard Manager (GC)
Click BROWSE
AND THEN CLICK “MemoryCardA.USA”
***this will populate your “Corrupted saved files” you want. This is not the fix but to solely show you they are still there.

Here’s the fix! and why!

What happened to me! I set up and started using my ONE DRIVE which made its own path! So what you need todo is have the original path you had set up to be your primary like you had it once before.
With DOLPHINE Emulator open click “options on the task bar” then click “configure..”
Or (just click the configure dedicated button which is located next too “graphic and “controllers dedicated buttons)
THEN click on “GameCube”
Scroll to the bottom where you see Slot A “Memory Card” click the “...” next to this
this opens up your computers Drive
click on “This Pc”
Click the “Documents” folder
Click “Dolphine Emulator”
Click “GC”
Click “MemoryCardA.USA
Click OPEN

and BOOM!
Go load your beloved games and access your saved files!!!

Make sure! You’re not loading from your “OneDrive”

Up Vote this and share some love if I helped any of you out! I know how it feels losing your files.

I’ve searched the internet for a fix all day and I haven’t found any help. So before everyone else takes credit for this fix. Remember Boom told you first. Share with all the other emulator lovers!

I play a lot of different games so add me anywhere. I go by 86BOOM or 86BOOMYT
