Hi all,

Since there is no Gamecube system startup (that I know of), is there another way to manage the contents and saved games on the memory card files?

Thanks very much indeed.
Danny.

On Android there is no such functionality to do so.

They didn't check which forum they were in.

One option is to dump your gamecube's IPL (it's boot ROM, essentially) and boot that to get to the system's memcard manager, but there is no UI to easily enable this in android so you'll be messing around with INIs and manually creating the folder where the IPL needs to go.

There is also no UI to directly launch the IPL, so after disabling "Skip Main Menu" in Dolphin.ini, you would have to boot a GameCube game while holding A.

Thank you for the replies.

Ok so it’s not really possible to edit the content. So then how big is the capacity of the file? Is it a standard memory card size or larger? Or maybe even unlimited as I’ve not run out of space yet !!

I wonder if there’s a specific game out there that allows you to check the contents of the memory card and slows you to manage it that way ?

I don't think it works the way you think it does.... You shouldn't worry about it becoming full, as far as I know... I think the specific save files on a per game basis can even be found among the emulator files....

edit: root > dolphin-emu > GC is where you'll find the save files..  specific game saves are in their region specific folders as different files..
