I recently moved my Dolphin install on my Windows 10 PC, and now my Memory card with hours of save files on it is showing up as corrupted and asking me to format it. I also have 2 backups of the memory card which are doing the same thing, the memory card manager seems to show no save files being on them either. Is there any way to fix this? Also, what could have caused this? All I can think of is when I moved the install but that shouldn't have ruined my saves and backups. I would really hate to loose these files, or would at least like to figure out what happened so it doesn't happen again. Any help would be great, thanks.
Memory Card and backup corrupted after moving install

Yea sure, the current Dolphin install is on the left, the folder Dolphin saves to is on the top right, and my backup is bottom right. I use to have the Dolphin install folder near the User folder on my D drive in D:\Games\Emulation\GCN\(Dolphin Install) with the folder using the default name the installer gives it, I'm not sure if that matters but I also have no clue why this would happen. I assume keeping backups of the memory cards like that should work, I only have 2 backups total though.

Are you sure the user directory was moved to that folder? It might still be in your documents. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t..._Directory

The date modified would update every time I saved as well. |
