Memory Card A suddenly can't be found

I use both savestates and the internal saving when playing games and it's been working fine for weeks, i didn't change any settings but suddenly in multiple games when i try to save using normal game methods i get a memory card can't be found in games that it used to work just fine for

Assuming a corrupted memory card is the problem, you would delete the memory card file (or the GCI files for this game if you use GCI folders), and then try to save the game again to a fresh memory card after loading your savestate. If it doesn't work, you'd have to start over and not use savestates anymore or at least make frequent backups of your memory card file so that you can roll back if savestates break it again.

I would start with trying to use a memory card manager, like the one in Dolphin, to extract the saves. And then try to use the saves with the other memory card feature in Dolphin, not the one you were using before.
