Memory Card A Corrupt?

Hi, I just downloaded Dolphin today (from emulator-zone) and whenever I try to play Windwaker, the game tells me that:

Quote:"The memory card in slot A is corrupted and needs to be formatted. Would you like to format the memory card now?"

So I select yes, and it tells me that

Quote:"The memory card in Slot A cannot be used with this game."

Then it tells me

Quote:"The game cannot be saved. Would you like to continue anyway?

I select yes. then the cycle repeats.
When I go to the Dolphin\User\GC directory, there are no memory cards. How do I make a memory card?

create a file called MemoryCardA.x.raw
x = your region
EUR for pal for example
(and i think its USA for ntsc but dont take my word on it)

format a card for ntsc, format a card for pal, set one to slot a and the other to slot b. the problem here is probably that you are running ntsc games and pal games, so everytime you load a different region game, it wants to reformat the card.

Ok, but see the problem is I dont know how to make a memory card. I checked in the User>GC directory, and there are no memory cards. No files whatsoever. How do I make the memory cards?

download a recent build of dolphin from this site or from someone who compiles from svn.

Downloaded r7239, still not working. I seriously dont understand what the problem could be.

Are you using the japanese version of the game?

No idea.. it is PAL. I live in Canada, so which version should I be using?
