I've tried various versions of Dolphin (DEBUGFAST), and they either crash when I add a memory breakpoint or don't do anything when the memory value being checked is changed.
Versions I've tried:
1. Dolphin 4.0-6866 (latest build)
I've tried this one on both Windows 7 and Lubuntu 15.04 (both x64), and they crash a few moments after a memory breakpoint is added, right after the breakpoint appears on the list. I've tracked this down to this line: memset(region, 0xCC, region_size); in x64Emitter.PoisonMemory(). I've tried running with Disable JIT Cache on, but then the games just gave me a black screen with the title bar saying "Clearing code cache". I've also tried running with the Interpreter (which was VERY slow indeed), and it didn't crash upon adding breakpoints, but didn't do anything when the breakpoint-y value is changed. It didn't matter whether JIT Cache is disabled or not.
2. Dolphin 3.0-865 (I found this from an old post of ExtremeDude2's)
Doesn't crash, but doesn't do anything when a watched value is changed.
3. Dolphin 4.0-? (I found this on smashboards)
Same as 3.0-865.
The games I tried were Brawl, TTYD, Super Paper Mario. I used the memory value that stores the menu option selected in the games' main menus to test.
Oh, also I tested 4.0-6886 on some laptop running Windows 7 x64, which I can check the specs of if it matters.
