memcard problems...

OK so i have memory cards on an old version of dolphin and i want to move them to a newer versoin but everytime i try to i have to fromat them...is there a way around this?

move the mem card files and the save states

yea thats what i did but then the newer dolphin made me format them...it was so dum...im glad i copied and pasted them

Go to User-Savestates (move that)
Then
Go to User-Gc and (move that)

i dont remember well but one of the new build have something to do with it
and i dont think you can do that now

go to user files and find wii folder, then copy paste a folder named 0010000(something like this).
