Use winMD5 and post the MD5 hash of your ISO here.

Put framelimit to auto, disable LLE on thread, and set the audio backend to an actual backend (OpenAL is the only option for Mac, I think)

I tried it, still makes melee crash when I select characters and press start to go to stage select.

I suspect that disabled MMU made the issue, try turning it back on.

Do you have any cheats on? I know the default cheats on Melee will crash that version of the ISO.

It sounds like you have a problem with your configuration. I can't exactly help you beyond telling you to just wipe everything and try again; which I'm sure you've already tried. Your ISO is good, I don't see any broken/stupid settings, and MMU shit should definitely be off (it'll just make the game run slower.)

You could try reinstalling dependencies, maybe? Or testing the very latest builds, I don't know.
