Medal of Honor European Assault FHD Texture Pack
Hi folks, here for download is a HD texture pack for MoH European Assault. I've started with the multiplayer map "For the Motherland" to pilot the project, remade the fonts in HD, and completed 50% of the various HUD elements in the game. Most of the environment textures are AI upscaled to 2048x2048; a nice step up from 128x128. This is one of my most beloved multiplayer FPS games on the Cube, and I wanted to do it justice for 1080p hence my continuation on this project in my spare time. Please see the screenshots below for some before and after examples.
This is done completely in my spare time, so no promises on release dates etc.
UPDATES 09/06/2023
Most of the first level is complete. Still working on the weapons and effects. You can tell the developers tried to squeeze every bit of the 24Mb of ram in the cube, the textures are just so small. You can tell this port was scaled down so much compared to the PS2 and Xbox counterparts. They took a lot of effects out, no particle or water reflections, fewer solders on screen, LOD that reduces the polygon count as much as possible and went hard on reducing texture size. AT least we can fix the textures.
Specific textures and mods for Ishiiurka Builds:Bump/normal mapping may be revisited later. The "auto bump" option works pretty well for now for faking bump mapping.
-Experimental Normal/Specular/Bump map textures for weapons and terrain included in zip file. (Tessellation with forced lighting, and phong lighting must be enabled)
-Shader settings included in pack. SSAO, SSGI, Scene Tonemapping, and Bloom with light scattering are enabled with best settings dialed in using Ishiiurka FX. (*NOTE: Trigger must be set to "On EFB Copy" on the post-processing tab for these to work correctly)
Progress:
-Multiplayer map textures: 20% ("Up in Flames" was done in this update)
-HUD and 2D elements: 40%
-Weapon textures: 25%
-Single player maps: Raid on St. Nazaire - 95%

-No Culling fix for Widescreen hack
-Experimental 60 FPS code
NOTES:
Use this pack with the Widescreen hack, and this no culling code to fix the culled geometry on screen edges.
The experimental 60 FPS code does break gun firing speed in multiplayer and many physics. Game is playable but be prepared for some unexpected twists.
