Meaning of the stars?

What is the meaning of the stars under my name? And how do you get more of them?

It just represents your rank in terms of post count. I think it goes something like...

1 star = 0 - 24 posts
2 stars = 25 - 49 posts
3 stars = 50 - 249 posts
4 stars = 250 - 749 posts
5 stars = 750 - 999 posts
7 stars = 1000+ posts

Of course, there are some special cases (admins, mods, Dolphin devs, and some people who were moved to the Above and Beyond user group when the limit was about 700+ posts instead of 1000+ posts).

It's all fake internet points though.
