Hi,

I'm a long time reader, first time poster on this forum and a big Dolphin fan. I require some aid with an issue I have been experiencing and would really appreciate your help.

2 months ago I purchased the Mayflash dongles so I could connect my WII U pro controllers to my PC and work with Dolphin emulator. http://www.mayflash.com/products/nintendowiiu/w009.html

They work quite fine on first sight but when I started to play some games such as mario smash brothers I discovered that the the callibration is off with the controller stick. Causing my character to move slowly without even touching the controller. I tried setting up a deadzone, but I need to set it so large that you can't even steer slightly in Mario Cart. So in conclusion it doesn't play nice with Dolphin (or windows in general?).

Is there any other way to solve this callibration issue? I noticed during the last progress report that there will be some enhancements to the native support for the Official Nintendo GC Controller Adapter for Wii U. But would this also address the issue I have been experiencing?

Thank you for any support!

I stumbled across the bug you are seeing a couple days ago co-incidentally.  I tried to fix it but Dolphin has been created in a way which hinders that.

I can tell you that this bug will not occur with the official GC Adapter as I could fix the bug there.

Thank you for the information but I don't have official GC adapter nor the gamecube controllers. There must be some solution for this issue or just knowing it will be included in next release would make me happy!

P.S. in windows game controller I also see that the callibration is off!

Bug
I have found that I can connect my wii u pro to dolphin, only to have it crash when I start the game. I have put the crash report on gist here: https://gist.github.com/outcast/b98e3eb96a7201652575

Also I have noticed the same issue with wjoy and smash bros.

So I've just bought a new wii u pro controller and this exact same adapter. I've got the same setup as you with the same problem. trying to find a solution. let me know if you find a fix and I'll let you know if I find one.

Thanks!
