Do both work on PC and the real Wii U? Are both flawless? I ask because the Mayflash is half the price and I would rather not pay the premium for the official adaptor if t makes no difference.
Mayflash vs Official GC USB Adaptor

AFAIK there are two mayflash adapters:
The old adapter was two port and used one usb. There is a new one that looks like the wii u one with 4 ports and two usbs but it has a switch between wii u and pc modes. I think mayflash wii u is identical to official and pc is identical to old. Comparison midway down page https://es.dolphin-emu.org/blog/2015/01/...mber-2014/ 10-24-2016, 07:54 AM
That comparison doesn't really show much besides the difference between the mayflash Adaptor without support and "native support". Doesn't mention if the clone Adaptors have any quirks. I've read on the forums here about potential issues with seperate driver packages and loss of rumble. I'm going to try the mayflash for now, as the price difference is too large to not try. But peace of mind would be nice.

I have the 4 port Mayflash one. Works flawlessly on Dolphin and my Wiii U. I think for Dolphin purposes, the Mayflash has an advantage over the official one because of the "PC" mode that you can switch to. This mode has made it very handy to use my GC controllers with VBA-M for some Four Swords action.

There are no differences between the 4 port Mayflash gamecube adapter and the Official Wii U gamecube adapter on the PC. They work exactly the same. The Mayflash adapter does have a PC mode but that is to use the controller as a third party controller for other programs. For dolphin its best to use the Wii U mode as there is no lag and it polls inputs in as if it were a real console. The 2 port adapters are ass though and I really do not recommend them at all
