So I'm running into this problem where the only input on mac for the 4 port mayflash adapter is that only 1 input /0/ shows up for the adaptor, and even if I set the second port to the second controller, the first controller moves player 1 and 2. What should I do to fix this?

While I have not conclusively proved this, I believe this is an issue related to how OSX handles HID devices with multiple Report IDs.

As a workaround, you can use the adapter in WiiU mode with my drivers installed: https://github.com/area/osx-wiiu-gcc-adapter/releases

First off, I think you are right. I can get a controller to work in the first port, but I cannot for the life of me get a second port to work no matter what configuration I use.

I downloaded the latest file, but I don't know how to install it. I tried copying the install text to terminal, but it gave me a line saying it was unable to fix a variable. How do I install the fix? If it works I'll let you know and that may provide some data to validate your theory.

Thank you very much,

You´re supposed to get the .dmg file. The last one on the list is the source code.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I got the .dmg file. It contains the com.area.gamecubeAdapter.plist, install.sh, uninstall.sh, wiiu-gc-adapter folder, and the WiiuGCCAdapter.kext. I don't know how to install the code to get the other ports working.
Would you mind telling me the steps to install it?

Thank you man.

I got the .dmg file and have ran the install.sh in my terminal, but I get back ,"/Library/LaunchAgents/com.area.gamecubeAdapter.plist: Permission denied" and then the rest of the installation fails because the files aren't moved to their correct directories. How do I get around this?

I'd greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you,
BlanK
