What games are you playing?
I'm not sure what that techno babble (overhead choked) means, but yeah, I'm playing Smash Bros Brawl and Smash Bros Melee. But why would it also happen when I click on "GCPad" without having started up a game?
Because the GCPad settings receives inputs too. Think of it like a game that only reads your inputs. Anyways I uninstalled Mayflash's crappy drivers as all they did was cause problems and I just use the default automatic Windows drivers. I suggest you do the same. Could you post a pic of your gcpad settings?
How do you configure the C stick (they dont go fully up or down) and the R button (only the L button seems to be registered, the analogy feature) on the default windows drivers? and here http://puu.sh/8gHzF.png
First of all use DInput instead of SDL. Second change radius on both sticks to 100. Third set dead zone of 5 on main stick 15 on c stick. Tell me if this resolves your problems. I don't have any issues w/ the windows drivers for me.
When I change it to DInput, my controller doesn't work. It doesn't react.
Edit: Nevermind, after restarting my computer, it all works fine with SDL, thank you so much!!
