I recently moved to a new place, so I had to hook my computer up again. On occasion it'll forget USB devices and I have to hook them back up again, but this time something very strange has been happening with my Mayflash adapter. Usually I just plug them in to my monitor's USB 3.0 ports (effectively a hub) and it works fine. Even now, I can use the adapter's PC mode to play games that don't naturally support GameCube controllers, but now Wii U mode does not work for Dolphin, returning a "Adapter Not Detected".
I've tried re-doing Zadig's installation following a WUP-028 uninstall, no luck. I've tried other convenient USB 3.0 ports, no luck also. I've tried restarting the computer and updating all relevant drivers, no good. I followed the controller setup and troubleshooting guide to a tee and couldn't get good results.
Just when I was about to give up, I tried the two USB 2.0 ports on the back of my computer tower, and it worked. The tower's 3.0 ports doesn't work though. Why is this? I know USB 3.0 hub ports used to work because that's how I've been using it for the past year! Is there a fix for this strange behavior? I'm not a fan of having to use those tower ports, since I have to put the adapter in a strange place for the cord to reach.
