Mayflash Gamecube Adapter Controller Problems

Hello,
I've read some threads about controller issues with the Mayflash Gamecube Controller adapter for MAC OS X,
but im still not able figure out how to get it so I can play multiplayer games.
I always manage to configure the controller,
but the controller connected to pad 1 always ends up
controlling the rest of the controllers.
