You need a POWERED USB hub. when you start plugging everything in a hub it sucks all the juice/power and starves other devices for juice/power. That's why sometimes things act finicky or don't work properly on regular hubs.

well it was also the only thing plugged into the hub. it was basically just acting as an extension cord since the cable is so short, but it reaches without it as well so w/e.

I did try it out today using a wm+ on skyward sword and everything felt really delayed and janky. but when I changed to a standard wiimote with the wm+ addon the delay decreased to tolerable wii levels. I was kinda disappointed since being able to use a -TR wiimote was part of why I got the dolphinbar in the first place. being able to connect the wiimotes without all that hassle is a huge plus though at least

My standard USB hub works with my Dolphinbar just fine. I even have other things plugged into it (two bluetooth adapters).

That doesn't sound right. My -TR is perfectly fine in Skyward. In fact, I've had better results thanks to the better sensor placement in the -TR. Well, Skyward has always had problems with getting out of sync with the action on Dolphin, perhaps you should try Wii Sports Resort to compare? Also, make sure the Dolphinbar is positioned well enough that you can get a good read when using the pointer (press the home button and that menu will use the pointer).

hm, I gave WSR a shot and everything was fine (well other than those random hangs), and it's in the same spot as the old sensor bar so visibility isn't an issue. since you said dolphin has issues with keeping the sync with ss, so maybe when I tested the old wiimote with the addon it just happened to get out of sync less. or maybe I'm just imagining it was better, who knows. ss isn't high on my list to replay anyways (I was just testing that wm+ worked) so maybe by the time I do want to play it dolphin will keep it synced up better or something. thanks for the help

I have the same problem.

My wii remote is connected to Mayflash, but Dolphin says "A supported bluetooth device could not be found.  You must manually connect your wiimotes". When I press the refresh button in Dolphin my wii remote vibrates, so I am not sure what the problem is.

Is there any way to get this working? I am using Dolphin 4.0.7202

I have the same problem running dolphin 8143. I can use the dolphinbar for mouse and keyboard in its other modes, but I can't get any input in dolphin itself in mode 4. The controllers even vibrate as if they're connected, but in game I get no input.

I am noticing something weird. If I have dolphin configured for more than one real wii remote, but my wiimotes get assigned port 2. Hope I don't have a defective bar.

EDIT: So it turns out that I'm a moron. All the games I was testing I had previously set up with controller profiles that used my xbox360 controller. Once I cleared all the per game configuration, everything works, except Twilight Princess. It hangs on the health and safety screen.
