Setting up Dolphin Bar:
1.) Download and run the firmware (MAYFLASH DolphinBar Upgrade Firmware Ver03 http://www.mayflash.com/File.asp?Id=85) on WINDOWS (XP, WIN7 or WIN8).

2.) Press and hold the “SYNC” button on the DolphinBar, and plug the DolphinBar into the PC USB, Windows may install a new device, wait for this to finish.

3.) Release the SYNC button, and you'll find the Update Firmware button becomes available.

DO NOT UNPLUG WHILE UPGRADING.

4.) Once the above is done simply plug it in. and sync it with your Wiimote, to do this simply press the sync button on the wiimote and DolphinBar.

5.) open Dolphin and go to the Wiimote tab and set it to “real Wiimote” and check “Continous Scanning” and UNCHECK sound, it’s known to cause issues such as disconnects. It also sounds terrible.

I don't know about support for the adapter, It should work since it just pushes buttons on the wiimote more or less. But i have never tested it, So don't quote me on that.

That was just brought up on the Progress Report. The problem has to do with bandwidth limitations on Bluetooth. RealWiimote audio has never worked well on Dolphin, on any Bluetooth stack or operating system.

Here is a link to the download page: http://www.mayflash.com/Support/Download/

You'll want the V3 of the firmware, it is as of now the 3rd one down

No one knows why it works on the Wii and not on PCs. I guess I should have been more clear that the bandwidth idea is not absolutely known 100%, but it's the only explanation that fits the facts. The facts are that it has NEVER worked and the crackling occurs on all Bluetooth configurations, even the DolphinBar! Yet when that same audio is shunted to the system speakers, it's perfectly fine. That implies the connection is the problem.

It's already compressed. Heavily. It sounds like crap on the Wii, but at least it doesn't crackle with static.

I just got my dolphinbar and had some issues getting it updated (it ended up not liking my usb hub, but worked once I gave it its own port), but I finally got it running and my got my wm+ synched to it. I could use it as a mouse (and will never do that again), but dolphin doesn't seem to recognize it at all. THe dolphinbar is on mode 4 and I have "Real wiimote" selected, but in the "real wiimotes" section it says "A supported bluetooth device could not be found. You must manually connect your wiimotes." I've got continuous scanning on and I've disabled speaker data. I've tried hitting refresh a few times, turning on the wiimote before and after starting dolphin and before and after starting a game, but no luck. Am I missing something? Running 4.0.2

You need the latest development version, 4.0.2 won't work with the bar.
