SVN? lol.
How about this: I'll post to this thread when it's working. It will also be in github as a PR and in the downloads page after it's merged, as well in a progress report and in an article we'll be pushing once the DolphinBar is working. It will be hard to miss. Looks like MayFlash have sorted this now. There is a firmware update for the sensor bar on their website.
Testing now... Seems update is to support more remotes. Confirmed still not working with latest firmware. 07-13-2014, 01:34 AM
That's out now? Sweet. The firmware update let's the DolphinBar use -TR wiimotes. But yea, it still doesn't work with Dolphin yet. Give it time.

Hi.
This DoplhinBar actually works with the latest Dolphin version and Windows 8.1? Can I connect a Wii Balance Board and Cyberbike (from BigBen Interactive) with this DolphinBar? These are Wii controllers. Can I connect every Wii controller? Btw., can I use it also for connect a smartphone, headphone etc.? P.S.: Is PlayAsia actually the cheapest international source? Even for Germany, I did not found a cheaper source. But I did not found many sources :-) . Do you know a cheaper source for EU-rope or Germany? Thanks... 02-05-2015, 11:21 AM
How did you solve your problem? I have the same exact situation!

I had this and similar problems with the Dolphin Bar (DolBar), DolBar is working just fine for me, now after some trouble shooting in 4.0-5394 and the way I solved my problem was by doing the following: 1) Before you plug in the DolBar, open the control panel, and go to controllers, so you can see all your controller items, game controllers, keyboards, printers etc.. Keep the box open and visible. 2) Before you plug in the DolBar, hold down the sync button on the DolBar. Hold the sync down until windows figures out you have a usb device plugged in, you should see and hear the windows noise for usb devices or see or hear the driver notice pop up, after all that, you should see a picture of a controller pop up in your controller box now. Once you see the picture of a controller pop up let go of sync. This should be for MODE 1 of dolphin bar. What you really want is to get MODE 4 on the dolphin bar. For some reason on my windows box it needed to create a separate controller for each of the modes of the DolBar. 3) Do step 2 for MODE 4. To get to MODE 4 hit the other button on the DolBar to switch till the 4th blue light is lit. Unplug dolphin bar. Hold down sync, plug DolBar back in. Wait for windows to do its thing, you should now see a slightly different controller image pop up in the control panel controller box, once it does then let go of sync on DolBar. You should be good to go at this point. But restart your machine for good measure. Here is something interesting and it may just be my machine but I'm gonna write it here incase others or the devs encounter this quirk also. After I restarted my machine I opened up control panel and went to controllers again. I noticed the image of the controller was not the same as the image I had before I restarted. Windows loaded the wrong controller for mode 4. I clicked on the DolBar to go to mode 4 again, and then I held down the sync button for between 30 to 60 seconds, and strangely enough the controller image changed and the description went from a HID controller to a Game controller. I think this is a key thing. My windows machine saw each mode as a different controller. It kind of makes sense because, the DolBar can be a HID or a controller or a mouse, etc. So before you start using the DolBar make sure you cycle through the modes and once you get to mode 4 wait to see the game controller image with game controller listed. Aneewaaay, Since then I have had no problems with the DolBar. It remembers my controllers, it works beautifully. All I had to do was turn on constant scan and real wiimote in dolphin 4 and it's perfect. I am also using the mario and luigi colored controllers. I've tested on old and new wiimotes and no problems. I don't know why but for me I had to to do step 2 for all 4 modes of the DolBar. I also had to update the firmware on the DolBar. To update the firmware, Download the latest from the mayflash website, start the program that you download from the mayflash website first, then plug in the DolBar, remember to hold the sync button on the DolBar before you plug it in, then plug in, wait for dolphin bar and software to acknowledge each other, hit update, wait for it to do its thing then restart your machine. I would suggest making windows see the modes as controllers first before you update the firmware. I am also using a 6 foot usb extension cable because the DolBar has a very short usb cable. Works just fine. Sorry for the long post! I hope this helps! 02-09-2015, 03:45 AM
