Hi,

I recently updated to the latest version 4.0-5917 but noticed vibration was no longer working on my Gamecube controller. I'm using MayFlash Gamecube adapter and it used to work fine on previous builds.

Anyway I could take the old controller settings and apply them to the new build?

Thanks!

Go to the Controller menu in Dolphin, then go to "Configure" on the device you are using. Click the box next to "Rumble" and set it as your controller and test it. Tell us if it detects your controller in the menu and if using the test button yields a rumble.

Also, what do you have set as the controller in the top left hand corner of the controller button setup screen?

Hey sorry for getting back so late,

I'm using the latest version now 4.0-5930 and it's still not vibrating with the Mayflash adapter for Wii U and PC. I switched it to Wii U mode and Dolphin doesn't even start.

Anyways, I decided to go back and download an earlier build 4.0-5906 and it works fine. It stopped working from 4.0-5908

"Updated the input plugins reference of hwnd on game start" -- this could be the reason.

For reference I chose standard controller and set it as ramp. Now it doesn't work at all and yes I've tried various other vibration modes.
Please see a fix for this. Many of us opted to get a Mayflash adapter because it's easier to configure and use as a PC controller and easier to find than the official GC adapter. It also works with other emulators such as Project 64 so it wouldn't make sense not to work with Dolphin Smile

Would you take a screenshot of the controller mapping screen?

ramok2k, thanks. Would you please test out this build and let me know if it fixes the vibration problem for you?

Skid, I tested your build and it's working fine. I believe you have found the solution?

Yes, thanks for confirming.  I will merge the fix into the master build.
