Mayflash adapter doesn't recognize CSL controller

Dear community!

I am using Dolphin 5.0 on my MacBook Pro running Version 10.13.3. I have recently bought this adapter adapter and this controller to take a trip down memory lane and play some Super Mario Sunshine.

I am at a point where Dolphin recognizes the adapter in Port 1 of the settings, with the controller plugged into the right port on the adapter and the switch at "Wii U" (not PC). My Problem now: the controller doesn't do anything...

Down below I have also included a screenshot. (Sry for German; "Adapter erkannt" = "Adapter recognized")

You'll also want to use the latest dev build of Dolphin because of fixes for some changes made by Apple in mac OS 10.13

I have now:
1) installed the latest dev build of Dolphin (5.0-6243)
2) installed the package from your link
3) installed the package of the forum thread 


... but now it doesn't even recognize the adapter anymore, which it did before on standard Dolphin 5.0...

UPDATE

After deinstalling and deleting everything, I installed everything again with the following result: Dolphin recognized the adapter, I started a game, nothing worked, the game crashed. I reopened Dolphin and now it saiys again, that it doesn't recognize that adapter anymore...
