I've looked around to try and get definitive answers for my questions, but I haven't found any yet.

1. Does the new 4-port Mayflash GC to Wii U/USB adapter have any lag on any of the buttons or sticks, or at least, more than the official adapter?

2. Is it 1-to-1 in terms of analog range accuracy (both sticks and triggers)?

I'm currently using an Xbox 360 controller, and don't have either an adapter or a GC controller. I'm only considering getting a GC controller because I want an accurate Gamecube/Wii experience on the PC, and considering how much the "upgrade" would be, I'll only buy if I know the adapter and controller will be console-accurate. Please advise Big Grin

In Wii-U mode, the Mayflash 4 port will be console accurate. In PC mode, it will be quite accurate (as long as you are using a genuine Nintendo GameCube controller). Dolphin still has some controller emulation issues to work out, but they are not caused by the adapter. See Issue 960, Issue 6780 for two examples.

In Wii-U mode, the answers to your questions are: 1) No 2) Yes
In PC mode, the answers are 1) More than in Wii-U mode 2) No

In PC mode, the Mayflash will have around the same latency as the Xbox 360 controller.

I bought a Mayflash adapter and it works great. Zero complaints here.

One thing that tripped me up until FenrirWolf set me on the right path:

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=How_to_use_the_Official_GameCube_Controller_Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin

As he also noted, the link may not work to the page (it came up as a blank wiki entry for me). You may need to go to the wiki and search for 'official gamecube adapter' to find the setup.

The Zadig driver worked great for me. I ordered a second GC pad (one of the real Nintendo Japanese language Super Smash Brothers-labeled ones) and received it a couple days ago. Plugged it into port 2 and it was recognized by Dolphin with no tweaks needed from me!
