Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box

I already sent an email to Mayflash support, but I'm still trying to fix it while I wait for the them to reply. Here is the exact email I sent them:

"Hello,

I bought your 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box and I'm trying to get it to work, but I'm having problems.

When I first got it, I plugged in my Gamecube controller and then plugged in the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box. It said that it successfully installed the drivers and that it was installed as a Generic USB Hub which I don't think it was supposed to do, so I unplugged it. Then I went and downloaded the drivers off of your website that I actually need. Next, I plugged it in again and was going to fix the problem where it was a Generic USB hub, but it was only there for a second. I unplugged it and plugged it in again... Now when I plug in the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box, nothing happens. Nothing is being read, there is nothing in the Devices and Printers tab. Nothing is happening. I've tried multiple controllers, I've tried multiple USB slots, I've tried multiple computers, etc.

Is this a fixable problem or is the thing busted?

Thanks."

Now, after trying for 20 minutes, I finally got it to read the device again. It seems like after I plug in the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box, it will say it's installing drivers, but then I can't plug it into that same USB slot again.

I just plugged it into a new USB slot I haven't used and it popped up in the bottom right and I click on it and all it says is "Generic USB hub Installed" and "Ready to use", but I can't right click it to manage it and there is still nothing in Devices and Printers.

What is going on? What can I do? Did I blow 17 dollars on a broken adapter? Please help!

Thanks.

Personally I dont like any adapter that user drivers though I have to admit the magic joy will work once its installed right. If you are doing this on win 8 or 8.1 that could be why ( you may need a win8 driver). To fix this issue on win7/xp you will need to remove the drivers and all devices from the system for that adapter. To do that you need usbDview ( its free ). Do this with the adapter unplugged. Be careful only to remove the mayflash stuff. Then reboot and try installing again. If that fails its something about your system preventing the install.

Thanks for responding. This is on windows 7. I've downloaded the program you told me to use and I can't even locate the mayflash drivers on it. I've never had a computer problem I couldn't solve with a few hours, so I've come to the conclusion that the thing is broke somehow. I've tried a million different things and it's just not working.

What adapter would you recommend for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit? I'm going to return this one.

He's recommend his own adapter, because it's the best. It costs about $35, though, and that's for just one port.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: Intel i5 4670K @3.4GHz... for now @4.6GHz with a quick and dirty (yet stable) OC. May get faster in a bit before the end of time.
RAM: 16GB (Down from 24 GB after some was given to siblings)
GPU: Radeon Vega 56

Just so we're clear, it's 35 dollars for 1 Gamecube port?
