Hello
In advance , I am currently running Windows 7 64x.

So recently I purchased the Mayflash Magic Joy Box GC/PS/XBOX to usb adapter to use with Dolphin. The first thing i did when I opened the package was plug in the gamecube controller, set it aside, and installed the latest drivers from Mayflash's website. yeehaw. So I proceeded to plug the adapter in, and Windows started installing the device. At this point i was creamin mah pants, because I really wanted to use my old GC controllers for Brawl. Unfortunately, however, Windows installed the device as a generic USB hub. And when I opened device manager, it said the device was working properly.

I tried manually installing the drivers by Right click>Upgrade Drivers> blah blah blah. no dice. Since the Device was recognized as a HUB and not a HID, I could not install the TigerGame drivers.

I tried the other two ports in hopes that they might work, and to my unwanted surprise, the xbox controller worked like a charm, but I got no indication that the Gamecube or PS controllers were even detected.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers in compatibility mode, which seemed pointless, and I tried unistalling the device itself, and tried reinstalling everything, restarting, and even restarting with driver signature enforcement off ( like in the case of using a PS3 controller)

I am pretty much at wits end, and have tried everything I could come up with. Any and all help at this point would be GREATLY appreciated Big Grin thanks in advance!

Nick

● Compatible with Windows98/ME/2000/XP

Please follow this order:
Connect your game controller to the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box first, then insert the 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box to your PC USB. If you change the order, the hardware will not be found in the Game Interface of your PC.

The previous statements were provided by Mayflash. 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box

What version of Win7 are you using? Pro and Ultimate should cover you on compatibility.
You may of tried this but, uninstall drivers reeboot. follow connection process but use one controller initially. Your GCPad. cancel the auto install when pops up and directly install your driver package. Note I have had to install other drivers under xp compatibilty mode and have had success.

Thanks for the response reply. When I initially installed the device the GC pad is the only pad i had inserted. I tried the whole process about 3 times to no avail. I am attempting to disable Automatic Driver instillation at the moment, but I was missing the Administrative Templates folder in the GPeditor. I will post my results after I retry after installing the necessary drivers manually.
