maybe things would be fine if he were to try rolling back to whatever exact nvidia driver version he had from before upgrading ?? Or would that make no difference ??
Just curious i once tried updating nvidia drivers once before going between a bunch of different versions cause this computer has some terrible problem with "screen tearing". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_tearing went through like 3 or 4 different nvidia driver versions, it never made a differerence. And turning on "force vblank and tripple buffering" does absolutely nothing period. it's worthless seriously if it wont work on any emulator. And then one time when i tried going back to the nvidia driver i had from the start, i was getting BSOD on anything i'd open. So then i went ahead and properly uninstalled the current driver...start comp without any graphic driver installed, install the the normal nvidia version i was using from the start, and then things were back to normal (but not screen tearing). but if fixed my sudden BSOD issue. i just thought maybe if this guy tried going back to which ever version he had "before" updating..it will fix dolphin back to normal. if im wrong, then i apoligize. 04-14-2011, 08:53 PM
No need to apologize, it's true, according to what he wrote he said he had perfect speed and emulation before updating.
He could just have revert to the old drivers. |
