In mario sunshine, on the original gamecube controller, if you press R slightly, you can spray water, and walk at the same time. but if you click the button in, you can't walk, but you just shoot water.
I'm wondering if there are any tricks to press the emulated R button slightly, so that I can spray and walk. I'm using a ps2 remote. whenever I press R, it just automatically thinks Im pressing it all the way down instantly

"R-Analog" is pressing R softly and "R" is pressing R until the "click". If you right click on the button assignment for "R-Analog", you can change the range, which will decide how far down the R button is pressed, so lower the range if it doesn't work at the default setting. You can check your settings in the preview below the mappings. Just press the button on your controller and it will show how far the button is pressed.
