Hello everybody,

I have a little problem with Mario Strikers Charged Football [R4QP01]. When I play the game, sometimes the performance suddenly drops down to 30 %
and the audio crackles violently. And after a few seconds, it's at 100 % again. It happens quite frequently and seems to be completely random.
I tried to use D3D11 and D3D12 but I have the problem on both. On OpenGL, the problem is constant. When I use this backend, it runs very slowly and the audio
is crackling all the time. I also tried to lower the internal resolution but this didn't help. Besides this, I use the default settings.

On the wiki, there's no help because the article states that it's supposed to run perfectly. But it seems it hasn't been tested on Dolphin 4.0 yet.

What could I do about this?

Thank you for your help!

Is v-sync on? Turn it off.

No, I never used V-Sync because I know it slows down Dolphin a lot. JMC, do you also use the default settings?

Try deleting dolphin.ini, start the game, test. If working, set your internal resolution back, test.

I don't use any special settings for the game. The only place it's even close to demanding in the main menu for some reason.

Okay, I played around a bit and discovered some things: The lag occurs after I play about five minutes. And it mostly occurs when
there is swirled up dirt visible on the screen, for example after a sliding tackle or when the Thwomps fall down in the Sand Tomb.

That sounds like EFB Copies + Laptop throttling.
