game runs fine my only problem is that the board spaces are not displaying correctly. Seems a different texteure is in its place.... any help would be appreciated and sorry if this is in wrong section. I've looked for a fix but cant find any

Your profile says you're using Dolphin 3.0.. That is a very outdated version that is filled with bugs. Update to the latest developer version which is 4.0-2221 at the time of writing this.

Try using something newer than 4.0.2, like 4.0-2221 as was suggested above. There have been thousands of changes since 4.0.2; one of them may have fixed your issue already.

i fixed it by changing some settings. Thanks guys.
I don't like using newer than official releases because sometimes games that worked fine stop working using newer version.

And in many other cases, things that don't work in 4.0.2 will work on the latest development builds, but if you never try it, you'll never know for sure. Even though you fixed your issue yourself, just remember that the latest revisions tend to fix more things than they break.
