I think it is a matter if how many things are going on on the screen it is also very audio related. In a time trial for example, everything is running fine with no slowdown but in a grand prix, the audio stutters and the game with it. It is more present when multiple characters are on screen and they all make their own sounds.

It could be a bug with v4 builds but if all v4 releases give you this issue then it might be just that v4 is more accurate but slower for some games, unfortunately if this is this case then only upgrading the CPU or GPU will resolve this unless newer builds in the future improve the speed.

Ah well, its not a big problem, i'll just keep playing on 3.5 and i'll keep my eye out for new updates, i might also overclock my cpu and see how that goes. Thanks for all the help everybody!

Is Mario Kart the only game you see this issue with when comparing 3.5 and v4 speed? Because if all games give you similar results then I'd say it's definitely v4's increased accuracy behind it, but if only Mario Kart has the problem then it really could be a bug.

It´s not a bug, it´s just that MK Wii is kind of demanding...
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I see, now that I think about it I've had a similar situation with Mario Kart where only two or three development versions would give me much higher FPS then official builds so it could be the way the game is, but yeah def keep a lookout on newer builds!

Can you post your configs (main configs, graphic and audio configs)?

Please post them as screenshots.
