Mario Kart Wii Performance

Hello,

My Mario Kart Wii performance is stable at 75%, but it wont go any higher (It reaches 100% speed when I am in Time trials -- I'm assuming because there is only one character to load as opposed to an actual racing match)

When I open the Task Manager, however, my CPU usage never goes past 36%. Does this mean Dolphin is not running at it's full potential?

I am running Dolphin-win-x64-v3.0-408 with all the default settings.

Well since you have more than 2 cores...(Dolphin only uses 2 cores btw)

Try checking Lock Threads to Cores.

Maybe it's your Graphics Card? Do you have a good one? Or are you running out of RAM?

He has 8GB of ram and dolphin only uses 150MB-600MB of memory. His gpu should be enough for 2x IR but not 3x. His cpu is just not fast enough.

Mario Kart runs slow on my computer too.

I have 8GB RAM, AMD FX 4100 3.6ghz and a hd6950.

pls post your settings.

With my notebook, i'm able to play Mario Kart Wii at fullspeed.

Dual Core activated
idle skipping on
JIT Recompiler

Lock Threads to cores is disabled.

Your cpu is too slow. Bulldozer is not good at single threaded performance.
