Mario Kart Wii - Black screen

Trying to boot/launch Mario Kart Wii on Doplhin Stable(s) gives me a black screen, doesn't show anything else.

The game runs fine for me, and I know for a fact it runs on stable, so we'll need some actual information to help you debug this issue.

1: Do other Wii games run?
2: Are you certain you're running a good dump? On the latest development builds, we have a bunch of tools in the game properties page for verifying your games.
3: If you enable logging (via the View/Log Configuration and View/Log) does anything show up when you boot it up?

When there is the black screen, and trying to close Dolphin, it won't let me (not responding) I have to force end the prosess from task manager. Also from task manager I can see power usage - high (on Dolphin)

Check your dump by right clicking the game in dolphin, clicking properties, and clicking verify. There will be a button at the bottom.

Are panic handlers on? Also try disabling dual core.

It's failing super early, before the game is really even booted

Also changing the panic handlers or dual-core didn't help.

Hey there, Im having the same issue, anyone know any new fixes since the original thread. I've already tried a couple fixes but am afraid I'm doing it wrong as I'm not very good with all this tech stuff. Thanks in advance.
