I have a total of two roms on my pc. I can load up Zelda TP fine with the particular settings.

I also have Mario Kart Wii and it gives me a black screen instantly, audio does work, and i have a save file.

I get this error: IOCTL_NWC24_REQUEST_GENERATED_USER_ID

I meet all the requirements for running the dolphin emulator, i have updated everything needed, set all settings for mario kart wii. Also have the latest build from dolphin.

Im not understanding why the black screen happens, i have heard people run this game without a problem :/

Which revision did you use? 3.0?

I tried the latest revision 7671.

How could I disable the progressive scan in game specific settings? I've read that disabling the progressive scan would fix the black screen issue, but the game settings, which overrides the dolphin settings, is set to enable by default and disabling it is not allowed.

Also, where could I find the Optimize Quantiziers option?

You can't change it manually???
Otherwise Optimize Quantisizers option isn't used anymore

Click once more on the grey square that is supposed to check the option but you can go into Graphics/Advanced too

There's no way I could change it because it's read-only. It's enabled by default and game specific settings overrides the dolphin settings so I think even if I unmarked it in graphics/advanced, it's still enabled.
